Friendly staff, really good range of equipment and space
Please do not use this gym! I signed up for this gym back in January and during the process I by mistake gave them 2 separate card details, but only one was meant for my subscription. Later down the line I missed a payment as I didnt have enough in my account on the day of transaction, and they decided to use my other card details to take that money WITHOUT contacting me at all. So I go to cancel, my subscription, call about 20 times where no one picks up and when I finally get through I get told that I have to come in branch to cancel, which isn't possible as I don't live in Bristol anymore. Now I am attempting to cancel again however I have been calling for the last 2 months and have had no one call picked up. So I have no way to cancel. They are effectively robbing me as they wont let me cancel my subscription. Do not Join this gym, its small its cramped and the ones in the centre are nice and easier to use and don't scam their customers.
Don't expect any kind of good customer service from this gym. The manger is rude, unhelpful and uninterested in solving any issues once you've signed up. The gym is ok for the price and is 24 hours but I wouldn't recommended it purely because of the poor staff. Judging by other reviews I'm also not the only one who's noticed this.
Not bad. Not the best, but not bad. Decent mix of cardio, resistance and free weights. Also, a decent size studio for training (e.g. boxing) is also available.
My first visit to a gym today at the age of 54, joining my son, who is a Snap member, for a little boxing. My wife and daughter came along, both hoping to join me on the free taster session offer as spectators. The desk was empty, but the studio was unoccupied so we sparred a few rounds with the intention of signing the paperwork later. We were alone, so I boxed in shorts and trainers, just like I've seen on TV. The gym boss Nathan popped his head though the door. I thought he had come to welcome us, but he shouted, 'Put your shirt on,' paused, 'Now.' I did as ordered, but asked, 'Why so aggressive?' Rules I was told. More anger. I did not know the rules. A shade disappointing. Shouted at by an angry man half my age. Nathan then cancelled my son's membership and fined him 20 for allowing non-members in the gym. A more humble response after reflection would be admired. Two stars, despite the exchange, because the facilities were reasonable and the location is excellent
