Good budget kitchens, but displays look a bit tired.
We came in to Howdens on 28/04 for a design meeting. My partner and I were very excited about the idea of designing our brand new kitchen. When we got there, the guy responded to us with "why are you here?" bearing in mind we had our appointment booked in. He then went on for 10 minutes asking about measurements, told us not to look at Pintrest as that makes his job harder and then that was it. We have been waiting 2.5 weeks for any communication from him with any designs, any updates, we have heard nothing from them. As we are in the process of doing an extension, we wanted to get things moving, so we have now spent a considerable amount of money on our new kitchen from another supplier - which Howdens have missed out out. We were recommended to come to Howdens and they were the ones we wanted to go with. So to receive that service is absolutely shocking. We will never be using you in the future, never recommending and you have lost out on a big sale because your kitchen/sales designer couldn't be bothered one bit. I hope you don't treat future customers this way. Buying a new kitchen should be exciting and fun, and our experience with Howdens was FAR FROM THIS.
Howdens Filton are great in all respects. HomeWorks Bristol have received great customer service from Julie in the branch and from Joe and Natalie who measure, price and provide top class drawings and designs. We can't praise them enough!
The lady Julie I spoke to on the phone saved my life my oven glass broke 10 days before Christmas and Julie went beyond her job helping trying to trace down when it was brought and helping me! Julie your Amazing! Thank you so much for your help! Have the Christmas ever!!!
Very easy to access this unit at Filton, we travelled from Berkeley, Gloucestershire. Very helpful from first point of contact on the telephone and also as we entered the showroom were welcomed warmly.Shown around to the kitchens and all accesssories that we enquired about. Felt free to examine, pull out drawers, cupboards etc everything was made accessible to us. Brought items we liked in the catalogue to us so that we were able to examine size, feel and look of handles etc. Everything you needed to see was made available through a knowledgeable helpful assistant who was not too pushy, gave us space and time. We decided only recently to have a Howdens kitchen installed and we are delighted with the quality and appearance. Thank you Howdens.
