This for several years my local Coop shop - it had the same staff for a while, and moist times I was in and out a lot quicker than other places, and I do not mind paying for that - stuff can be limited due to space and there was always stuff that I needed and at times their offers were just as good as other chains - I value my time more than 5 p extra I am afraid There is usually a security guard there - and I am glad that this place has survived with competition next door which I am sure is more expensive though people will not admit it - it does use pay point which keeps it going (for bills etc) Bus stop directly outside and it is difficult to negotiate if you are disabled etc.
Poor customer services and inconsistent pricing.
Usually well stocked and generally good quality produce. A little pricier than the Tesco next door. I think neighbouring Tesco now have a better selection of fresh and frozen foods. However Co-op usually have better selection and deals on drink, both soft and alcoholic. This co-op is also better for non-food stuff such as laundry, kitchen and bathroom goods. I just can't understand why customer service here is so bad. The few staff that are actually in the shop couldn't care any less about helping you. It used to just be the one woman who was especially rude but it's since been extended to all female staff. Particularly annoying for me is that staff refuse to pack for you. I'll be avoiding here from now on unless Tesco's shelves are running empty.

Coop has improved a lot lately with better stocked shelves and regularly has offers on a variety of goods, the staff are polite and helpful, However l would like to see a full time Security Guard at the store's Entrance! 8/10
